FAREWELL TO THE BATCH OF 2014

A heartfelt farewell was accorded to the students of the Madhyamik Pariksha Batch of 2014 on Friday, 7th February in the school Basketball Ground by the Headmaster, Staff and Students of St. Anthony’s High School. The outgoing students came impeccably dressed as dashing young men ready to make their place in the world outside the confines of the school. The programme began with a photo session of the students accompanied by their signing a special “slam book” to commemorate the occasion. They were then escorted into the school ground that was tastefully decorated by the present students of class 10. Each item of the program was introduced by the
teachers, who took the opportunity to give a parting message to the boys they had nurtured for so many years with love and care. The Assistant Headmaster, Fr. Siluvai Pitchai, stressed the need for discipline in life and the Headmaster, Fr. Devraj Fernandes, eloquently wished them all success and glory in their future lives. The present school captain, Nathan Astle Spirito, and Vice Captain, Md. Wais Ansari, also delivered their farewell messages as did the outgoing Captain, Tabish Raza and Vice Captain, Aadil Ahmed. Meaningful songs and dances were prepared by the students for the occasion. The program was followed by a meal specially organised by the Headmaster.
